AHA: American Heart Association Courses
We are now using the new G2025 AHA guidelines.
Cost: $65 Course: 3-4 Hours
This is a BLS for Healthcare Providers course. We will review the current standards for Basic Life Support as set forth by the American Heart Association including CPR, AED, and choking.

The skills session is for those that have already completed the online class not conducted by MSTI.

In this ACLS class participants learn airway management, related pharmacology and EKG rhythm identification.This training is geared towards medical professionals and prepares the provider to respond to cardiac arrest, bradycardia and tachycardia emergency situations.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is designed to provide healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children to help improve outcomes.
ASHI: American Safety & Health Institute Courses
ASHI courses are currently available.
Covers the basic principals of adult, child, and infant CPR. It also integrates the use of an AED and chocking procedures. Organizations wishing to focus on specific age ranges can have adjustments made and cards identified as such.

Covers first aid basics and prepares students to deliver first aid in a safe and timely manner. Also shows how to prevent injuries and illnesses.
Cost: $250 Course: 16 Hours over two days
This WFA class prepares for a remote outdoor setting to be better prepared to respond when faced with limited resources, longer times to care for someone, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person.
Cost: $35 Course: 2 Hours
Helps students understand what bloodborne pathogens are, how to reduce risks of exposure for themselves and others, and what steps will be taken if exposure occurs. Identify workplace hazards and develop safer habits and practices.

Delivers fundamental information in babysitting, including proper supervision, basic caregiving skills and safety and injury prevention.
MSTI - Brand & Specialty Courses
MSTI-branded courses provide practical, hands-on medical and life-safety training based on current ILCOR recommendations, the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, and applicable OSHA requirements. Courses may be customized for specific teams, workplaces, and environments to build practical skills, critical thinking, and real-world readiness.
Cost: $55 Course: 3 Hours
Designed specifically for the service industry caring for employees and guests, this specialized MSTI general first aid course includes topics on Scene Safety, Patient Assessment, Emergency Bleeding Control, Slips and Falls,
Head Injuries and Concussions, Allergic Reactions, Bone Injuries, Seizures, and Basic Wound Management. The importance of reporting, contacting medical professionals, and scene safety are also stressed.
Cost: $85 Course: 4-5 Hours
This specialized MSTI general first aid course includes knowledge to care for life-threatening situations in remote settings where help can be delayed.
This is an introductory practical, hands-on course designed for hikers, campers, those working or volunteering at trail, ultra-running, backcountry events, or just enjoying the great outdoors. A CPR class is recommended before taking this course.
Participants will learn how to:
- Recognize life threats and medical emergencies
- Controlling severe bleeding
- Identify and care for critical situations
- Understand environmental conditions and severity
- Emergency care in the remote environment
- How to report a situation and what information to provide
- Assist responding medical personnel and provide an effective patient report.
Cost: $30 Course: 1.5 Hours
MSTI Hands-Only CPR teaches the essential skills needed to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services, perform effective chest compressions, and use an AED. This practical, hands-on course is designed to give participants the confidence to take immediate action during a life-threatening emergency until professional responders arrive. This course requires a minimum of 10 students.
Cost: $30 Course: 2 Hours
Join the campaign to be prepared for severe bleeding and the techniques for identifying and stopping severe bleeding. Learn the use of Tourniquets in lifesaving bleeding control, other bleeding techniques, and awareness in an active shooter or mass casualty incident.

Currently available for Internal Training, or by special invite.
This internal training prepares eligible MedStar BLS providers to establish vascular access safely and consistently in accordance with MedStar Policy.
First-time participants must complete both the classroom and hands-on components. Classroom instruction establishes the knowledge needed to establish vascular access and administer fluid resuscitation when needed, while the skills session allows participants to practice and demonstrate the required techniques using IV training arms and, when authorized, supervised live-stick practice between consenting participants.

National Assoc. of EMTs
The phlebotomy course follows the NPCE training criteria to prepare the student for the national center for competency Testing (NCCT). Becoming a CPT can make you more valuable and hireable in the healthcare and lab processing job market. On-hands skills will make the student more comfortable and prepared.
AHA Certified Courses
The American Heart Association is the leading organization in the development, research, and creation of CPR education in the United States. The AHA is the most accepted certification for EMS hospital workers, public safety and governmental organizations. Currently using the G2015 standards.
ASHI Certification Courses
American Safety and Health Institute is probably the second most recognized certifying organization, adopting the AHA standards and developing other lifesaving and educational courses. This course is also recognized by most allied heath institutions and popular for first responders, OSHA, and corporations. Currently using the G2015 standards.
STOP the Bleed
This class will be automatically available to our current ASHI CPR/AED Classes. As part of our community services effort to educate the public on the dangers of severe bleeding and the steps to take to stop or reduce life-threatening bleeding.
